Charity Events - Manchester run and bike ride

Staff at Wilby Ltd have been very busy raising money for various charities recently with two major events taking place.
Richard Blackburn, Managing Director, took part in Pedal 4 Pounds alongside 170 other cyclists on behalf of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity.
The gruelling 260 miles bike ride commenced on Wednesday 27 April 2011 from Huddersfield and arrived in Brighton on 30 April 2011.
Richard has personally raised over £3,000 and, as a collective, the group expect to raise hundreds of thousands for this great cause.
The charity work didn’t stop there though and on May 15th 11 Wilby staff took to the streets of Manchester for the BUPA Great Manchester Run. This is the 5th time that Wilby staff have run this 10K race to raise money for Overgate Hospice, and in the process, more than £5,000 has been raised.
