Free training workshops for directors
Feb 22, 2011
Wilby Risk Management is teaming up with The Howarth Partnership in April and May to present free training workshops to be held in Cleckheaton and Halifax.
Wilby Risk Management is to present a workshop on business continuity management for senior managers and business owners.
“Business continuity is something that most Directors know they should have in place to protect their businesses from threats and to recover from disasters, but often don’t know where to begin” says Mark Dalton, Associate Director. “The seminar is designed to give attendees the skills and awareness to start putting in place this management discipline essential for all businesses”.
The Howarth Partnership who provide legal advice, tribunal representation and ILM management training to local businesses will cover the legal obligations and duties of being a Director.
Legal Director, Gavin Howarth states “With all the pressures that come with being a director, it’s easy to forget that you have legal responsibilities under the Companies Act 2006. The aim of the seminar is to remind directors of these duties by looking at what they actually mean in practice.”
