HSE 'Shattered Lives' Campaign

Jan 1, 2010

The HSE has announced a new campaign to run through February and March 2008 called Shattered Lives, aimed at reducing accidents caused by slips, trips and falls.

More than 1,000 workers per month suffer serious injuries from slips, trips and falls. The Shattered Lives campaign is to target those most at risk, which includes electricians, gas fitters, and other trades people, and workers in the construction, catering, food retail and food manufacturing industries.

The campaign is designed to raise awareness of this widespread problem and to help implement simple, practical improvements.
