In the midst of this extremely challenging economic climate, Wilby Risk Management is to hold a seminar aimed at supporting employers who are thinking of taking the unenviable step of down-sizing the workforce. Latest figures indicate 1 in 3 companies may be facing this decision.
An employment law solicitor will provide guidance on how to select workers and manage the redundancy process to comply with legislation and to avoid costly employment tribunals. A specialist in man management issues surrounding down- sizing will also help employers through the minefield of maintaining morale in the remaining workforce and the best ways of communicating with the unfortunate workers who are to lose their jobs.
