Workshop Success

Wilby Risk Management partnered with The Howarth Partnership earlier in April to deliver a free breakfast seminar on Directors’ Duties and Business Continuity Management. The well attended event saw Gavin Howarth deliver some home truths for company directors that was thought provoking and gave those attending cause to stop and review their company management with regard to compliance with the Companies Act.
Mark Dalton, Wilby Risk Management, then delivered a workshop style presentation during which the various risk issues to a company were identified and possible business survival strategies were discussed. It was interesting that none of the companies represented had a robust and tested business continuity plan in place.
