Wilby training
A competent and knowledgeable workforce is an essential element of any business’ ongoing risk management and health and safety plan. Health and safety training and risk management awareness should extend from the shop floor to the boardroom, and efficient training is a key factor in achieving an acceptable level of competence.
Health and safety training can assist your company to fulfil its legal duties to provide information, instruction and training that may be needed to ensure the health and safety of your employees. Our experienced health and safety trainers can offer a variety of courses in health & safety topics.
Health and safety training also has many other benefits, both for your staff and your company. It can help prevent your employees being injured or made ill by the work they do; and can help develop a positive health and safety culture, where safe and healthy working becomes second nature to everyone. It will contribute towards making your employees competent in health and safety. This can help your business avoid the distress that accidents and ill health cause and can help you avoid the financial costs of accidents and occupational ill health, including lost working time and production, compensation claims and prosecution.

All of our training courses can be delivered at your premises, specifically for your employees. The benefit of this is that the course can, if required, be tailored to your company's needs and can use specific examples of policies, procedures, forms templates etc. There are also cost benefits in delivering health and safety courses in this way - it works out much cheaper than sending individuals one or two at a time. There is no minimum number of delegates, but you will need to provide a suitable training room - with electrical sockets, room to use the projector and enough seats for the staff who will attend.
